Controller and scope
Model Portpoint is the controller of personal data collected through this website and our Bangkok training enquiries. Contact the controller at contact@modelportpoint.click or Level 8, 91 Sukhumvit Road, Bangkok 10110.
Data we collect and why
We collect your name, email, optional preferred date, chosen session, and message when you enquire. If a booking proceeds, we may retain payment status, attendance records, invoicing details you provide, accessibility requests, and correspondence. We use this information to answer you, assess session suitability, administer a booking, deliver training, keep accounting records, protect the training room, and comply with law.
Our legal grounds, as applicable under Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act, include steps requested before a contract, performance of a contract, legal obligations, legitimate interests in administering and improving our teaching, and consent where specifically requested. We do not ask for brokerage credentials, portfolio values, government identifiers through the enquiry form, or special-category data unless an accessibility need makes limited information necessary.
Sharing
Authorised staff and instructors access only what they need. We may share limited data with payment, accounting, email, venue, hosting, or professional advisers acting under appropriate duties. We may disclose information where Thai authorities lawfully require it. We do not sell personal data.
Retention
Unsuccessful general enquiries are normally deleted within 18 months. Booking, payment, and tax records are retained for the period required by Thai law, generally up to ten years where applicable. Workshop correspondence and learning feedback are usually retained for three years so we can address follow-up questions and disputes. We delete or anonymise data when its purpose expires.
International transfers
Some hosting or email providers may process data outside Thailand. Where a destination does not provide equivalent protection, we use contractual safeguards, provider commitments, or another transfer basis permitted by applicable law. You may ask for information about relevant safeguards.
Your rights
Subject to legal conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, or withdrawal of consent. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. Email contact@modelportpoint.click; we may verify identity proportionately. You may also complain to Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Committee.
Security and children
We use reasonable access controls and limit form data, but no internet transmission is risk-free. Our training and website are intended for adults and we do not knowingly collect children’s data.
